25ml Mother Root Ginger

6 ripe plums

200ml water

2 tbsp honey

2 cardamom pods (lightly crushed)

Directions
  1. Halve and de-stone your plums then combine all the ingredients (minus the Mother Root) in a pan.
  2. Poach plums on a low-medium heat until tender (around 20-
    25 mins).
  3. In your favourite mug, add the Mother Root, a few spoonfuls of the syrup and top up with hot water
