Ingredients

0.75 oz Mother Root Ginger

6 ripe plums

6.75 oz water

2 tbsp honey

2 cardamom pods (lightly crushed)

Directions
  1.  Halve and de-stone your plums, then combine all the ingredients (except the Mother Root) in a pan.
  2. Poach plums on a low-medium heat until tender (around 20–25 mins).
  3. In your favorite mug, add the Mother Root, a few spoonfuls of the syrup, and top up with hot water.
